Stayed 24th July hotel ok for one night small room needed a bit better cleaning especially in these times.
Breakfast disappointing don’t like buffet’s and that’s what Continental grab and go is but they included Bacon or sausage baps covered in paper, which anyone can pickup by hand not Covid-19 safe. I thought there should not be buffet’s at moment. Buffet meals waste a lot of food so are bad for the environment. Stop doing buffet.
Don't go to the holiday inn in bellmead, they are dishonest and only care about the money, no refunds, even when they say they will refund you back the money

What an amazing team. So, so helpful when we returned from a covid extended holiday to find our car battery flat. Sian on reception took our worries away by phoning relevant breakdown people for us and security guys too. We are always happy at Cardiff Holiday Express Inn and recommend this as the ideal place to stay before and/or after your holiday. Many thanks to all
This hotel discrimination against young people with disabuilites my son was having a lovely evening out with his girlfriend and an other couple who were already booked in at this hotel. So my son and his girlfriend though why not book a room also they tried to book a room tonigh but told there was no rooms left which was a lie !!! Because I called the hotel and told there was rooms!!?? So I then booked a room through booking.com for them which showed several rooms available also !!?? I sent them the reservation details and they called the hotel to check it was all settled only to be told he sounded to drunk!! And they were cancelling his reservation!!! This is a young man who has trouble talking in the phine and stutters !!! My son called me uoset and angry because it took alot to be treated awful not just one but twice !!! For an assumption someone is drunk when in fact they has learning difficulties I as a mum am extreamlly angry and will be taking this further !!! I called and told there is nothing she could do !! The manager is rude discriminative and her actions were unjust and alarming as my son and his girlfriend could have been left this late at night with nowhere to go if I had not came to pick them up??? Disgusting hotel
Holiday in express Gatwick Crawley, what an idiot of a guy working of the front desk ( Rory ) he thinks he’s saving the world and working at the UN, prxxx, this is the only Hotel in the whole of the holiday inn Express group using track and trace that even the government says that does work, fxxxxx idiot, Rory go and get yourself a life,
Stayed 12 day at holiday Inn under solitary confinement allowed out once a day only for 20 min with security escort

Room was cold and water in Bath and shower luke warm. Reported but nothing done
Security rude and try bully you and think it's a prison
Security on each floor next to lift noisy at night speak loudly

Holiday Inn Manchester - thank you so much for letting me cancel my stay for free (despite me booking a non-refundable stay). Very understanding and emphatic staff. Will definitely book and stay when the times are back to normal. Once again - thank you.
Cancelling rooms for my flight departure and return through booking. com they suggest checking that my card has not already been charged. The option chosen was for free cancellation. Phoning the hotel and getting 6 options, none responded, trying reception and sales repeatedly. During this difficult time it's imperative that travellers, supporting their business, are able to communicate swiftly.
ALL I WOULD LIKE TO SAY BASE ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH "HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS" IS :THE INCIDENTAL DEPOSITS SHOULD BE WELL DEFINED. FALSELY ACCUSING GUESTS OF STEALING "2 PILLOW CASES" SO THEY CAN KEEP THE INCIDENTALS!
THAT'S AN ABSURDITY! GOING INTO YOUR DEBIT CARD HOURS AFTER CHECKING OUT OF THE HOTEL TO GET MORE MONEY WITHOUT YOUR APPROVAL?.
I SUGGEST IN ORDER TO HELP GOOD WORKING PEOPLE FROM PURSUING A CRIMINAL LIFE.
GUEST SHOULD BE ASKED TO PAY A $25 TIP PLACED IN A POOL FOR THE HOTEL STAFF.
THE HOTEL STAFF WORK VERY HARD, BUT FOR VERY LITTLE PAY.
THE BEST WAY NOT TO BE A VICTIM IS TO TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD & SHOULD BE TREATED. MAY "THE ADONAI ELOHIM" BLESS ALL OF US!
I have had a great experience with the staff and hotels throughout the lock down in difficult times. I am glad and will look favourably on them when times are better.
I woke up and was very pleased with your hotel so I decided to not leave I call the front desk...the face of your place. I want to go back and change the stars to five because it's not really your fault for hiring these miserable people. Well it is when there's 2. I worked in a hotel. Why are they so upset I started off with I'll write a review. Can I get it for $70 tax included but he was so rude he was like I just told you it's 70 plus tax. Yikes so can you last night he put me on hold so he could speak to the manager he came back and said she said I can't do it not realizing it was like a $2 difference but that's besides the point he actually said she and then when he picked up the phone he said I said can I speak to her he put me on hold again and he picked up the phone himself I said wait I wasn't I just talking to you and he said no this is a whole other person I'm the manager. He the said I need to come downstairs. As im getting dressed the nice supervisor from house keeping was sent by him. 11:06am. I go down as told and there's no man 2 woman. The older one as I'm explained he pretended to be a manager. She said ma'am I was right there the whole time and I heard him he is the manager okay but that would have been nice if he said that he just acted like he was someone else no she's arguing with me and tells me to leave completely she said that's what the manager said and I'm like no I just heard that right now for the first time I want to stay. Why are you so angry so I turn around go to my roomand I told my boyfriend gather your stuff we need to leave they said they want to call the police okay we leave very quietly and I get out of elevator and who do I see how about seven police and I'm like oh you're here for me as a joke but the jokes on me. They felt so bad because I was dropping key and out the door and now 11:25am Wednesday the 16th I had to explain the story once more. The lady cop was like I don't even want to say to you in front of them that I would look bad you just leave and do me a favor because I will have to arrest you for trespassing they don't really need a reason. I do have PTSD and I am very friendly with the problem you see that was me I have seven police that were not needed so your five-star rating. Turned into me debating should I put two or should I put five and I'm writing a lot because I feel so bad for taking it out on your hotel because of these two guys I wish I could work for you so you could have someone nice in the desk of the front face and make people feel like I guess instead I had to debate if I was in the mood to go to jail and see a judge because you're honor I'm not a criminal I just wanted to stay another night but I left hey I'm not happy with it so I'm writing a review this is my ending. But guess what I was spending my stimulus actually came in 3am. Hey holiday express is for check out I will actually allow you to make up for me that's where I think a manager really should step into this long message because it's saying a lot the housekeepers were so nice and the rooms are so beautiful but the people in the front desk were so miserable are they getting minimum wage did they miss their paycheck I don't understand I don't want to blame them because it wasn't one employee it was 2 but hey at least there was 3. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Stockport 4/9/20 2 nights? I was well looked after , room spotless service was first class Jessica & Anthony on the desk was first class couldn’t want for any more well done to the team and manager Carl ????????
Used recently on a trip to London and ended up staying in a suite which was lovely, breakfast very reduced which was a shame but understand COVID issues
